** NOTHING BETTER THAN BUYING PRIVATE JETS

by eunicegailocay on May 7, 2010

Buying private jets will rack up the dollars a little faster than buying a new suit — especially if you’re planning on buying a new one. Cessna’s six to eight seats can be found for $1.6 million to $3.8 million. If a larger 32-seat jetliner is your ideal private jet, the range increases to the 10 millions. Of course, you don’t always have to buy new; there are plenty of used models available and even online companies willing to help you in your search for the perfect aircraft.

A light jet safely on base.

Small Jet or Light jets are the most economical choice for short to mid-range trips. With average cruising speeds of 450 knots and non-stop ranges of about 1700 miles, light jets can travel further and faster than non-jet aircraft while operating in and out of smaller airports.

Another type of jet is the Beech 390 Premier 1 with its amazing features. It has a hot and cold drink facility, 6-7 seat configuration, and a fully equipped mini bar. It also has the Premier 1′s cabin, one of the biggest for a private jet of its size, seating six or seven passengers in a 320 cubic-foot cabin. Fold-out tables on both sides of the aircraft and fully adjustable, extra-wide seats make for a comfortable flight. Additional options include a B&D five-panel cabin display, an array of cabin entertainment systems, and interior trim/finish upgrades.

A little overview is when Raytheon’s goal in designing the Premier 1 was to create a high-performing private jet with minimal acquisition and operating costs. They began achieving their goal by using the fully-automated Viper manufacturing system and new design software. But just because they cut back manufacturing costs doesn’t mean they cut back on quality. Having its history back In March 2003, a Premier I established a new speed record when it flew from Wichita, Kansas to the East Coast of the USA, 1,854km (1,152 miles) at an average speed of 1,028km/h (639mph).

A Sabreliner 40 is the world’s first twin-engine business jet. It has an impressive cabin space, a hot and cold drink facility and of course, a toilet facility. Sabreliner 40 aircraft are designed for passenger comfort. It seats a maximum of six passengers with an entertainment/executive console.

A Rockwell Sabreliner on land.

Let us first know a little background about this jet. The Rockwell Sabreliner 40 was the world’s first executive twin jet aircraft. This model can carry 4 – 6 passengers in relative comfort and has the ability to operate out of medium sized airports. Many of these popular business jets were built, and exported to countries outside the US. Back then, the Sabreliner began as the Air Force T-39, built to military specifications for strength, performance and flying qualities. In 1963, those same standards were incorporated into the world’s first twin-engine business jet, the Sabreliner Model 40.

Another jet is the Learjet 36A, of course, with its own features like the hot and cold drink facility, an 8 seat configuration, a built in restroom and a fully equipped mini bar. A maximum of eight passengers can travel in the Learjet 36A’s cabin. The cabin is usually in a double club layout, with plenty of room to swivel, recline, and track. With a good sized mini bar there is plenty of room to sit back relax and enjoy the flight. The Learjet 36 is a 35 trading two seats for additional fuel for non-stop capability across the North Atlantic.

The Learjet 36 is known, above all, for its range. The Learjet 36 offers more than range: it has good handling characteristics, a low fuel burn, and fast cruise speeds as well. The Learjet 35 has received some interesting honours since the first serial number rolled off the line. It was selected for use as a military jet, where it now operates with the name C-21.
